By Brad Aspey

Out of the three final contestants in The Arrangement on LOGO TV, Traverse City's own Derek Woodruff was the first to be eliminated from the reality TV floral contest last night.

The State Theatre was nearly filled to capacity with supporters of the 25-year-old floral designer and, although Woodruff didn't win the competition, he was upbeat when he addressed the audience from the stage after the show.

"If I die today, it would be okay, because I have accomplished more right now than I have in my entire life," he told a crowd that cheered him on.

The winner of "The Arrangement" was Tenley Young, of Burbank, California. Young and Woodruff were originally two of ten florists to compete in the nationally televised series.
