Summer Music Series: Little Graves

Morgan Arrowood has been belting out songs and banging away on keyboards since she was four years old. She says even back then - when her parents first signed her up for piano lessons - her style was bold, brash and loud.

A year ago, she met bassist Vince Grimaldi and formed a band. Vince says the name Little Graves takes its name from his love for horror - specifically the Stephen King novel “Pet Semetary.”

The band’s sound is now filled out by Levi Garrett on drums and Justin Riley on guitar.

Little Graves will head into the studio in August record their first full-length album.

You can catch the band live Aug. 25 at the Lively Lands Festival in Empire. They’re also set to play the Pondjam Festival in Rapid City Sept. 2.
