In Studio A with Identity Cubed

Apr 25, 2019

Identity Cubed is a percussion trio that focuses on transcending the music of the standard percussion ensemble. They will be performing April 26 at the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts in Manistee.

The trio (Andre Dowell, Andres Pichardo-Rosenthal and Xavier Verna) recently visited IPR’s Studio A. They performed music of John Cage and talked about their connections to the Sphinx Organization and what it’s like shopping for musical instruments at Home Depot.

Listen to the entire performance and conversation below.

Identity Cubed performs Friday, April 26 at 7:30pm at the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts in Manistee. Click here for more information about the concert.
