Stateside with Cynthia Canty went on the road for a live show from the Grand Rapids Art Museum.

The show aired on May 21, 2015 and featured the following guests:

  • Michigan Radio’s Lindsey Smith talked about the plans for restoring the Grand River.
  • Dana Friis-Hansen, Director of the Grand Rapids Art Museum, spoke about the museum’s In the Air exhibit.
  • Detroit News columnist Daniel Howes discussed Canadian/U.S. relations and the recently-named “Gordie Howe International Bridge.”
  • Marylu Dykstra, with the Disability Advocates of Kent County, and ChrisSmit, Director of Kendall College of Art and Design's Arts and AccessInitiative joined us to talk about the DisArt Festival, a multi-venue disability arts festival in Grand Rapids.
  • Jeff Williams, the CEO of Public Sector Consultants, joined us to talk about an exclusive Michigan Radio/PSC poll on voters' reactions to the road funding proposal.
