Hello Kids Commuters; it’s Veterans' Week on Kids Commute from Interlochen Public Radio! All week long, we’re saluting the brave men and women that have served, or are currently serving in the American forces.
We’ll be highlighting the anthems of each branch of the United States military.
You’ll also hear some very special guest voices introducing each program this week, including Michigan Senator Gary Peters, Congressman Jack Bergman, Lt. Col. Burrell from Camp Grayling, Chuck Webb of U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City, and Air Force Technical Sergeant Walt Mullenhagen. The Kids Commute team is thankful for recording their greetings for the show in addition to their service to our community and country.
