Classical IPR's Kids Commute has won a Bronze Award in the Best Children/Young Adult Program category of the New York Festivals Radio Awards 2019.

Kids Commute airs weekdays on Classical IPR at 7:40 a.m. during the school year. Host Kate Botello and producer Tony Bero introduce young people to classical music. Listen to past episodes here.
This is the second New York Festivals Radio Award that IPR has received since 2018. Last year, IPR took home a Bronze Award for its live broadcast of the New York Philharmonic.
