Kids Commute - Randomizer Week! Monday

Welcome to Randomizer Week on Kids Commute from Interlochen Public Radio!  As the Kids Commute team begins to wrap up this season, we thought it would be fun to highlight pieces that don’t fit into a weekly theme, but are still fun to listen to.  So we threw a bunch of ingredients into our Randomizer Machine, fired it up, and out came five great musical selections that have absolutely nothing to do with each other.  Today, we take a look back on an invention that at one time was absolutely essential for many people.  The typewriter!  Do you know what that is?  Your host, Kate Botello will tell you all about it before we listen to “The Typewriter,” by light-hearted American composer, Leroy Anderson.  Stick around after the music, because our Randomizer Machine also spit out a random Kids Commute Quizlet that has nothing to do with this week’s music.  Even though it’s Randomizer Week, we won’t take just any random answer. You need to text us the correct answer, and you’ll win a Kids Commute Prize Pack.  We hope you have fun with Randomizer Week on Kids Commute from Interlochen Public Radio.
