Welcome to Day Three of NEAPOLITAN WEEK on IPR's Kids Commute - classical music for kids!
It's Valentine's Day, so we're hearing a round of famous - and fun! - Italian love songs, performed by legendary singers.
It's unusual for Neapolitan songs to be sung by women, but we have a very special singer today! Joan Sutherland was so beloved that her fans gave her a nickname - "La Stupenda!" (That means - "The Stupendous!" Which means so terrific you can't even believe it.)
Happy Valentine's Day!
