Happy Friday! Welcome to the last day of FLUTE WEEK on IPR's Kids Commute - classical music for kids!
This week, we've been learning from Interlochen Arts Academy Instructor of Flute, Nancy Stagnitta. She's taught us all kinds of things about the flute - its history, members of the flute family, good ways to "greet" your instrument.
Today, Nancy demonstrates some cool noises that the flute makes - and tells us why she thinks it's a great instrument to choose when it's time to think about joining Band or Orchestra.
