The album was recorded at Skywalker Studio. It includes early music by Renaissance composers Giovanni Palestrina and Tomas Luis de Victoria, and it also has new pieces and arrangements by living composers Mason Bates and Stacy Garrop. Favorites by Joseph Jennings, Tomas Morley and Robert Shaw and Alice Parker round out the album.
