Last fall, violist Renee Skerik was featured in two different chamber recitals in northern Michigan.
This week on Classical IPR in Concert, we showcase those performances, which include music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms and Caroline Shaw.
One recital took place at Interlochen Center for the Arts, where Skerik is instructor of viola. The other took place at First Congregational Church in Traverse City and featured musicians from the Traverse Symphony Orchestra, where Skerik is principal viola.
