On Saturday, December 10 at 5:00pm Michigan Legacy Art Park will present Winter Sounds, their annual holiday concert.

“Winter Sounds brings together the community in a cozy, magical setting with the choir singing and the audience joining in,” shared Michigan Legacy Art Park’s Executive Director, Angie Quinn. “This Annual Winter Concert also benefits the education program at the Art Park, helping to provide field trips to area students in need.”

Guests will enjoy a short winter hike to the amphitheater along a tree-lit trail, a toasty bonfire, hot beverages, and an inspiring holiday choral performance by the West Middle School Madrigal Singers. Attendees should dress for cold weather and bring blankets or camp chairs to sit on. Dogs on leash are welcome to join. Program lasts approximately one hour and is located on the grounds of Crystal Mountain Resort.

In addition, hikers will be able to view two new pieces of artwork: Two Doors by Leslie Laskey and The Pine Cone Forest Community Projectby Patricia Innis as both are located on the walk to the amphitheater.

Tickets are $10/adult, children are free. Admission fees benefit Michigan Legacy Art Park and Traverse City West Middle School Madrigal Singers. Please visit https://michlegacyartpark.org/winter-sounds/ for donations/purchase tickets. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Due to foreseeable snowy conditions, the trails are not ADA accessible for this event. Limited parking is available at the Art Park entrance and trailhead with additional parking on Mountain Woods Drive, less than a block away.
