Peer support is one of the core services at Disability Network. Who better knows the issues that individuals face than another person with a disability.

Men's Group
Zoom Meetings, Mondays, January 4 to 25, 10:00 to 11:00 am
This group is for men in our community seeking support, an opportunity to learn new skills and a chance to connect with other men with disabilities. We will work on managing stress, frustrations and issues they may be experiencing around social distancing.

Women's Group, Sharing Herstory
Zoom Meetings, Mondays, January 4 to 25, 11:00 to 12:00 noon
We are living in an unprecedented time of social distancing and sheltering in place. We all may be feeling a bit isolated and confused. This is not a face to face meeting, but a virtual meeting for women with disabilities that can be done via the computer or by phoning in.

Peer Advocacy Group

Virtual Accessible Gaming Social Groups

Disability Network Northern Michigan is the first stop for people with disabilities and their families in northern Michigan. Our mission is to promote personal empowerment and positive social change for people with disabilities. We educate and connect people with disabilities to resources while advocating for social change in an accessible and welcoming community.
