Mariela Palencia, Olivia Dubay and Anna Bjerken are students in the voice program at this summer's Interlochen Arts Camp. They visited Studio A to perform some music and chat about their lives.

Mariela Palencia is 16 years old and performed Benedetto Marcello's "Il mio bel foco." She is a student of Jeffrey Norris at Interlochen Arts Camp.

Mariela, who is from Annendale, VA, told us about her love of performing all kinds of music, from classical to musical theater to pop and rock.

Anna Bjerken is 16 years old and performed Vincenzo Bellini's "Malinconia ninfa gentile." She is a student of Peg Cleveland Plambeck at Interlochen Arts Camp.

Anna, who is from Ithaca, NY, told us about what it's like living in a musical household (her parents and both of her siblings are also musicians).

Olivia Dubay is 17 years old and performed John Duke's "The Bird." She is a student of Lisa Pierce Litteral at Interlochen Arts Camp.

Olivia, who is from Raleigh, NC, told us about how she's making lifelong friends and professional connections at camp.

Stephanie Baird and Migeun Chung were the collaborative pianists for this session.
