Michael Moore Sues Weinstein Brothers

<p><em>From Staff Reports</em></p> <p>Filmmaker Michael Moore claims he was duped out of profits from his 2004 hit <em>Fahrenheit 9/11</em>.</p> <p>According to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/blogs/thr-esq/michael-moore-sues-weinsteins-fahrenheit-97138" target="_blank"><em>The Hollywood Reporter</em></a><em>,</em> Moore is suing Harvey and Bob Weinstein, claiming the brothers cheated him out of at least $2.7 million dollars. Moore points to an independent audit which showed "substantial irregularities in accounting."</p> <p>A lawyer for the Weinsteins dismisses Moore's claims. </p> <p>The lawsuit represents a significant shift in the relationship between Moore and the Weinsteins, who have backed some of his most successful projects. </p>
