<p><em><a href="mailto:aspeybw@interlochen.org">By Brad Aspey</a></em></p> <p>The deadline for artists to find a space to show their work in Grand Rapids' ArtPrize is Thursday. </p> <p>ArtPrize is open to any artist in the world. During last year's competition, Traverse City artist Eric Daigh came in third place and went home with $50,000 dollars. </p> <p>ArtPrize offers the largest prize of any competition in the world with a quarter-million dollars going to the first-prize winner. During the event, September 22nd to October 10th this year, downtown Grand Rapids becomes a massive indoor/outdoor art gallery. </p>
